    Glasses

    Yup, that's right. I have to have glasses. It's not a prospect I'm highly thrilled about since I can barely stand my sunglasses but the Dr feels that I need them and have needed them for a while now. I've been having some issues with night driving and occasionally my vision will go blurry on me. He said that I'm pretty farsighted and the little lens behind my pupil has been overworking itself by allowing me to see distances as well as things up close so now it's becoming stiff. He said I have Hyperopia, [link] Anywho, I'll be getting them sometime around the 22nd. He thinks that my art will make an improvement once I can see correctly.

    Also, had a dentist appointment and I have to get 2 fillings on the 15th, yay :sarcasm:. Oh well, stuff has to be done.

    Gamster got his coggins pulled Wednesday, so hopefully everything will come back negative. It should since he's only ever been around where he was born and Karen's. He was a good boy and the vet, same vet that's always worked on him, said he's really shaping up into a nice horse and that he's rather surprised with his progress. He also said he's about 15hh. I'm not so certain of that so I'm going to try and stick him soon.

    Got my breast collar today, which =TheYawningHorse and I did a commission for so I'll be trying it on Gamster tomorrow. I still need to oil my saddle and bridle so hopefully once that's all done, the colors will match a bit more. I'll try to get started soon Taylor, been kind of busy lately.^^;

    Anyways, that's about all that's new for now. I've just been really tired and drained.

    Hm, if you can't stand glasses, how about contacts? I couldn't stand glasses (though I had them for years) so I started wearing contacts and I must say I like them much better ^_^

    Hm I wear glasses - at first I was horrified when the optician informed me I needed them, but I got used to them real quick and now my face feels strange if I don't wear them x)
    I think glasses would suit you to be honest :) But if they bother you that much perhaps you could try contact lenses... I wear them for rugby training - being slammed around aint the best when you have bits of glass close to your eyes xD

    Ahhhhh dont feel to bad. When I was in fifth grade, I my eye doc said I was taking after my father, I am nearsighted, with a slight stigmotism in my right eye, and my eyes are like 20/100 it could be more than that by now too! I have to where glasses all tthe time, 24 hrs a day do you have to where them all the time too??? I got this really cool studious pair; chocolate brown with squared lences, I loved them and I eventually didn't have a prob with wearing them. I am sure you will do fine with glasses, you can go out and find a cute pair that really accents a feature of yours, thats what I did and I am quite happy.

    Getting cavities filled is another story. Yes things happen but ooohhhhhhh they have to almost nock me out to do anything dental :lmao:

    I'm a glasses wearer as well. Got my first (and only pair) in eighth grade. Had lots of fun looking over them then through them (it made things look so much clearer -- trees had leaves!). But, I kind of knew it was coming, as my mom wears glasses, and my sister does, too. Got contacts the next year, and I love them! No dealing with the restriction of frames! But, contacts aren't for everybody: my sister can't wear them because she doesn't like the feeling of them on her eye. Try out the glasses first and get used to them before you go for contacts.

    Awwww =P that's too bad about glasses. Maybe sometime you could get contacts! Or would you prefer glasses? They can look awesome as long as they fit your face right =)

    Well I picked a funky, chic pair, lol! I think glasses is best suited for me because water burns my eyes like crazy.:S They're extremely sensitive.

    My doctor said that I have to wear glasses for at least a year and then go from there. I don't think I can wear contacts because my eyes are really sensitive, even water burns and irritates them. But I'll just have to see what happens.=)

    I got a pair of half frames and they're kind of funky and chic. I thought they looked good on me and so did the lady. I got transitions in them as well. So hopefully they'll look ok.=)

    Haha, the dentist used to scare me but mine is like a hippy and so funny, lol!
